Lotus Wellness and Yoga uses information you share with us to respond to inquiries, support studio activities, and operate this website. This policy explains the current Lotus website and our handling of related business records. For privacy questions or requests, email contact@lotuswellnessyoga.com.
Inquiries and form submissions
Our contact form collects your name, email address, and message. Studio Rental inquiries may also include a phone number, preferred event date and time, duration, guest count, and event details. We use this information to respond, discuss availability, and manage our relationship with you. Please do not include payment card details or sensitive health information in these forms.
Submissions are stored in our WordPress website through Fluent Forms and may be delivered to our business email inbox. Technical information, such as submission time, IP address, and browser information, may accompany submissions or security logs. Access to stored submissions is limited to authorized Lotus personnel and service providers who need it to operate or support the website.
Newsletter choices
Newsletter signup collects your email address, optional name, and your consent to receive Lotus email updates. We store the signup locally. An external newsletter campaign provider is not currently connected. Sending an inquiry does not automatically subscribe you, and we do not treat historical customer records as newsletter permission.
You can withdraw newsletter consent by emailing contact@lotuswellnessyoga.com. When newsletter emails are sent, they will include an unsubscribe option. We retain subscription and consent records while you remain subscribed and retain necessary unsubscribe or suppression information to avoid accidentally resubscribing you.
Merchandise, cart, and reviews
WooCommerce displays our merchandise and supports your shopping cart, including product selections and quantities. Online checkout and payment processing are not currently available. WooPayments setup is incomplete, and the Lotus store does not currently accept online payments. Before online checkout is enabled, we will update this policy with the applicable order and payment processing details.
If you submit a product review, we collect the review, rating, name, and email address, along with technical information used for moderation and security. Approved reviews and the name you provide may be displayed publicly; your email address is not displayed with the review. Please avoid including private information in public reviews.
Cookies and browser storage
WordPress and WooCommerce use cookies or similar browser storage to support sessions, remember cart contents, and provide login and administrative functions when used. WooCommerce also loads session-based attribution tools that record how a visit reached the site, such as a referring page or campaign link. These attribution cookies expire with the session; attribution is saved to an order only if an order is placed. Online checkout is currently unavailable.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect the cart or other website features. A browser Do Not Track signal does not automatically disable the embedded services described below. Those providers may use their own cookies or similar technologies and may collect information about visits over time and across websites. Their privacy controls and policies apply to that activity.
Maps, embedded content, and social links
Our embedded Google Map connects your browser to Google and may share technical information such as your IP address and browser details. Google’s handling of that information is explained in its Privacy Policy.
Some Lotus pages display embedded MAAT content. Loading or using an embed connects you to that separate service. MAAT’s own privacy information governs information provided directly through its service; this policy does not describe MAAT’s internal booking, payment, or customer-data practices.
Our Facebook and Instagram links take you to external platforms. Their privacy policies apply when you visit or interact with those platforms.
Website services and disclosure
This website runs on WordPress and is hosted through Namecheap EasyWP. Hosting, email delivery, website maintenance, and security providers may process information needed to operate these services, including technical logs and backups. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable requirements, protect our website, or respond to a legitimate legal request.
Retention and historical records
We retain inquiry and rental information only as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage the relationship, maintain business records, or meet legitimate operational or legal requirements. Retention depends on the purpose and type of record. Backup copies may remain until the relevant backup cycle ends.
Lotus may retain historical customer and appointment records created through previous systems, including GoDaddy, for legitimate business recordkeeping and continuity. Retaining a historical record does not automatically create a website account or establish marketing consent.
Requests and policy updates
You may ask to access, correct, or delete information Lotus holds about you by emailing contact@lotuswellnessyoga.com. We may need to verify your request and may retain information needed for legitimate recordkeeping, security, or legal obligations. Requests concerning information provided directly to an external service should also be directed to that provider.
We will post changes to this policy on this page and update the effective date. We will provide an additional notice when required for a material change. Please review this page when you use new website features.
